Roll your squad
What this randomizer is for
Squads that play together every night tend to fall into the same habits: the same person always takes point, nobody wants to carry support gear, and every match plays out the same way. This tool shakes that up. Paste your squad's names, tick the roles you want covered, and roll. Roles are dealt fairly, so nobody gets a duplicate role until every ticked role has been handed out once.
The optional loadout theme and challenge rule add a light twist without ruining the match. Roll a new one any time a round feels stale, and paste the result into your party chat so everyone knows their job before loading in.
Turning a random role into a real loadout
A role is only useful if the gear matches it. After rolling, open the WARDOGS loadout planner to build a kit that fits your assignment, whether that is a marksman setup or a heavy anti-armor kit. If you are unsure which weapons are worth the slot right now, check the current WARDOGS tier list before you commit.
Squad roles also work best when everyone agrees on a plan for the map. The WARDOGS interactive map marks spawns, objectives and common sightlines, which helps the scout and marksman pick positions quickly.
Tips for fair and fun rolls
Keep the challenge rule for casual sessions and switch it off for serious matches. If a player has never tried a role, let them keep it for two or three rounds before rerolling, so they get a real feel for it. Balance changes can shift which roles are strongest, so skim the latest WARDOGS patch notes after each update.
And if someone in the squad cannot even launch the game, look up the WARDOGS error code fixes before you start. For guides, builds and news in one place, visit the main WARDOGS game guides hub.
